After A Two-year Hiatus, We’re Excited To Attend The 2022 AAM Annual Meeting & Museum Expo! Tuesday May 10, 2022

After a two-year hiatus, the 2022 American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting & Museum Expo is on once again. The expo, being promoted as the #AAM2022, will be held from May 19-22 in Boston. #AAM2022 is the only event of its kind that brings together the entire museum ecosystem to discuss the industry’s most pressing issues.

Advance Relocation Systems Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David Hillemann, and Customer Service Rep, Tanya McKelvy, will be representing us at #AAM2022. David and Tanya are experts who have specialized in the climate-controlled, art and tradeshow side of our business for more than 10 years. This conference provides an opportunity for them to connect with professionals throughout the industry.

Understanding the Museum Field’s Biggest Challenges

We’re excited to attend the expo and learn about the latest challenges and trends in the museum industry. At ARS, we move artwork, exhibits and collections for museums and galleries. That’s why attending this conference is important for us and our clients.

History of the AAM

The AAM Annual Meeting first started in 1906 in New York with under 200 museum professionals. The event now has more than 5,000 attendees, making it the largest museum conference in the United States.

The AAM Annual Meeting is the only event of its scope and scale for the industry. It brings together museums of all types and sizes—from art and history museums to zoos and botanical gardens—to share ideas and make important connections. It’s a place where professionals can learn from one another and take away information that will impact their institutions and communities.

Advance Relocation Systems is a trusted moving company with specific expertise in fine-art and museum shipping. Attending conferences like this help us to build a better understanding of the museum industry and how we can elevate our handling and transportation of artwork.

Whether it’s a personal art collection or a multimillion-dollar museum exhibit, contact us to discuss how Advance Relocation can help with your next project.
