Advance Relocation Systems

I have a hard time imagining how someone who has never moved before finds a moving company in Baltimore—especially a mover they can count on. I say this because, sadly, there are more than a few shady operators in the moving business. (And Baltimore is a big city—they’re working the streets here, believe me.)

Between this home and the next, you may need local storage for some, if not all, of your things. Whatever your scenario for needing local storage, we will handle it. Our movers bring your goods to our warehouse and load them into wooden storage vaults (5’ x 7’ x 7’) where we keep them until you are ready for delivery. Our warehouse is secure with no unauthorized access. We maintain systems for intrusion monitoring (audio and video) as well as systems for fire detection and suppression. In a word, your things are safe.

Over the years, it has been our privilege to handle wine shipping and wine collections for our customers. It’s a special honor to know that we are responsible for the safekeeping and transport of someone’s prized vintages. Wine represents more than just a delightful beverage. It’s an appreciation for good things in life—conviviality and celebration, congeniality and relaxation. While the value of a wine collection is measured in dollars, its intangible benefits are impossible to estimate. Who can put a price on laughter, on friendship, on romance?

Somebody asked me if I thought Santa would make a good mover. After all, he seems to work a lot of magic for a lot of people, delivering millions (or is it billions?) of goodies all over the world in a single night. Well, the old elf’s supernatural powers aside, I have a few issues. I think other Maryland moving companies, including my fellow Baltimore movers, would agree. Santa would not do well as a mover. In fact, he would be a disaster. Here’s why.

I’m offering a New Year’s resolution to you and to all whose lives our local movers may touch during 2017. This is actually two resolutions, both designed to strengthen the moving services you receive from our packers and movers, and from every associate of our long distance van lines.

The colder weather that characterizes most regions of the country brings a few special considerations to winter moving. Here are a few winter moving tips that may help you make a successful move.
