For more than a year, the art and trade show industry was on pause due to the pandemic. Many of the fairs that we look forward to annually got canceled or went virtual. Any art aficionado knows that seeing art virtually is not the same as experiencing it in person. Fortunately, many art fairs are beginning their return to normal operations in 2022. Art Basel Miami Beach returned in December 2021. FOG Design+Art  is set for January 2022, and Frieze LA is gearing up for their February 2022 show.

In a previous issue of our newsletter, we featured an article about our participation in Art Basel Miami Beach. FOG Design+Art and Frieze LA are two upcoming art fair events we are looking forward to.

FOG Design + Art is a focal point for the West Coast art world. The San Francisco event features 45 leading international galleries, prominent, 20th-century and contemporary art dealers, a weekend of exciting programs, and 21POP, a special installation created by Stanlee Gatti.

Frieze is a media and events company that hosts five international art fairs, Frieze London, Frieze LA, Frieze New York, Frieze Masters and Frieze Seoul. In February 2019, Frieze LA was held for the first time, in Los Angeles at Paramount Pictures Studios. In 2022, the fair will have a new venue, 9900 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
