Meet Kyle Blevins And Take A Closer Look At His Journey At ARS Tuesday Sep 10, 2024

The dedication and passion Kyle Blevins has shown has truly created a huge impact on the ARS team. He first joined our family 17 years ago as a laborer out on the truck. What initially was meant to be a quick summer gig soon turned into something much more. The job and industry turned out to be the perfect fit for him, to the point where he described the experience as being like a fish in water. He learned a lot on the road with other team members and subsequently decided to stay… marking the beginning of his marvelous journey with us at Advance Relocation Systems.

What Led Kyle to ARS?

Prior to ARS, Kyle was the warehouse manager at Circuit City. He got acquainted with Advance Relocation Systems through his friend’s dad, who was already working with us. He enjoyed working with our team and always felt like he belonged here. Kyle never viewed his work as just a job and considers each teammate as a part of his family. He loves every bit of it and takes immense pride in serving our clients. Even after taking a seven-month break to try something else, he eventually ended up coming back to the moving industry. His words describe his affinity to assist people in relocating very cumulatively. 

“I think one of the big hooks that got me into the industry is the household portion. And it's such a necessary thing that we do. Especially doing it for the military, when you do a really good job, and you just ease the customer's mind, you can tell how grateful they are for the quality job you did. That was just such an amazing feeling. It was really evident during COVID, how important and necessary what we did was, how much impact we do have on the community in general and society.”

Kyle’s Journey at ARS

He worked as the Assistant Manager of the warehouse for three years before being promoted to the Warehouse Manager. As the Warehouse Manager, three things are of foremost importance to Kyle — Safety, Staff Management and Communication.

“There are a multitude of things that need to be done, but the most basic would be inventory management. That's all shipping, receiving, loss prevention, quality control, storage, keeping everything organized in a way that ensures productivity, efficiency, and safety. The way that we can be as valuable to the organization as possible is really by saving money or preventing the loss of money.”

Kyle’s Life Outside of Work

Both in and out of the workplace, Kyle enjoys being strong and physically active. He likes to work out and really do anything physical such as hiking, camping, swimming, biking, and working out with weights. He enjoys attending church and spending time with his mom and two older brothers, who happen to live just down the street from him. They get together every weekend to catch up and have a nice little family dinner. He also adores animals and has a three-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier named Layla.
