International Earth Day, celebrated on April 22, is a reminder that every business decision can make a difference. If your company is planning a relocation, it’s the perfect time to think sustainably. Commercial moves can generate a sizeable amount of waste — but they don’t have to. With proper planning, your transition can support both operational and ecological responsibility. Advance Relocation Systems is committed to helping organizations move smarter and greener.

Start with a Sustainable Plan

If you’re planning to relocate or expand your business soon, reach out to ARS to help you perform an asset audit. Our pre-move consultation will include pick out items that can be preserved rather than scrapped, and these other considerations:

• Donating used furniture to local nonprofits
• Contributing office supplies to schools or community groups
• Recycling outdated electronics through certified e-waste providers
• Disposing materials that cannot be reused responsibly

At ARS, we offer personalized planning that meets your moving needs and helps your company contribute toward a greener planet.

Reduce Packaging Waste with Smarter Materials

Advance Relocation Systems offers Eco-Friendly Crates (E-Crates) designed specially for commercial moves. These crates:

• Are reusable and durable
• Streamline packing and unpacking processes
• Provide better protection for office equipment
• Reduce cardboard and packing material waste
• Improve stacking, space planning and storage efficiency

Ask us if using E-Crates is the right choice for your next move. Making informed decisions can lower your carbon footprint to a large extent while keeping your move safe and organized.

Optimize Transportation & Logistics

Sustainability also depends on how the move is executed. ARS adopts green processes like:

• Consolidated shipments to reduce trips
• Strategic route planning to lower fuel consumption
• Coordinated scheduling to avoid delays
• Clear labeling systems to minimize re-handling
• Organized inventory management to prevent unnecessary replacements

Efficient planning and execution reduce emissions and minimize downtime that support smoother business continuity.
