Reflecting On The Year 2020 And Looking Forward To What 2021 Has In Store For Us Thursday Dec 31, 2020

Happy New Year! 2020 was undoubtedly a tumultuous year. We faced a global pandemic, rioting and racial tensions, elections, wildfires and so much more. While many people would choose to look on the negative side of all that this year has brought us, we choose to always think positively.

At Advance Relocation Systems, we have chosen to be thankful for the fact that we were able to keep all of our staff employed and to not have to close or substantially downsize our business like some others have been forced to. We choose to be thankful for the support of our wonderful clients, who even though they themselves have been facing hardships, have found a way to continue to show their patronage and support. We are also thankful to have been recognized by Atlas Van Lines for a number of prestigious awards.

In November 2020, at the 73rd annual Atlas Van Lines Convention, which was held virtually for the first time ever, we were awarded the following:

  1. Milt Hill Quality Award (for the 16th consecutive year!)
  2. STG Quality Award (for the 13th consecutive year!)
  3. Hauling Excellence Award (for the 14th consecutive year!)
  4. 4th Place Volume Producer with a Single Location Award
  5. 22nd Place Overall in Total Sales.

Looking toward the future, we are hopeful that this new year will see us returning to some semblance of normal. We understand that with a high level of downsizing and reconfiguration still occurring, the needs of our clients may be different this year, nevertheless, we are prepared to meet whatever needs our clients have. We also look forward to continuing our collaboration with our community partners and charitable organizations, many of whom had to cancel or postpone their fundraising events last year.

Again, we’d like to say thank you to our valued staff and to our clients and referral partners for sticking by us over the past year. While we’re not entirely sure where our journey in 2021 will take us, we hope you’ll continue to support us and follow our journey throughout the year. Happy New Year to you and yours!
